Roland SMEETS (B)
	was born in 1969 and started his music career whilst at the music schools in Welkenraedt and Eupen. He studied percussion, horn and piano. He conducts several community bands and youth bands in Belgium. He made further studies at the Royal Conservatory of Music in Liège. As a free-lance musician, he has played with several symphony orchestras, opera orchestras, the André Rieu orchestra and various wind bands. He composes and arranges exclusively for HAFABRA Music and has made some very successful arrangements of popular tunes such as: Unchained Melody (Ghost), I will follow him (Sister Act), the Magnificent Seven, Chiquita Banana Song, When the Saints go marching in, Yankee Doodle, ... In addition to these arrangements, he composes original music such as : Leaden Sunlight, Pegasus Bridge, ...
