Gerhard SPORKEN
	Gerhard Sporken studied at the Royal Music Conservatory in Liège and also in Vienna with Prof. Julius Kalmar. He has also worked together with Penri pousseur, Frederic Rzewski, Philippe Boesmans and Patrick Lenfant. From 1980 he has held the position as Professor in Solfège, Contemporary Music and Music Theory at the Royal Music Conservatory in Liège. Between 1991 and 1995 he taught choir and orchestral conductingat the Music Conservatory in Luxembourg. His work as a composer is largely devoted to electronic music. As a conductor Gerhard Sporken has worked with the Belgian National - Orchestra, the Philharmonic Orchestra Liège, the Grand Théâtre in Reims and the Orchestra and Choir of the Opera in Liège.
