He started to learn music at the age of 12 and went to the music school at Tournai from the age of 15. He was immediately attracted to writing music and composing for small ensembles. From the age of 18 he attended the Music Conservatories at Mons and Brussels where he obtain a first prize for trombone performance and harmony. He has composed a large number of wind band pieces and he is very busy now with a new project: his music shop, which is doing very well. He is also a renowned instrument repairman.
