surprisingly, the success of Latin music touches the entire world and "Chiquita Banana Song" is surely one of the most famous Latin spoofs of
all. The tune was published in 1946 and was used for many years as a jingle
that simultaneously advertised bananas and cautioned consumers against
putting them in their refrigerators. The arrangement from the pen of Roland
SMEETS, respects the original music and sounds great: marimba groove,
trumpet melody line, ... all the ingredients for exotic entertainment.
