Mezzo
soprano solo. Lest we forget was written for fanfare band in 1994 as a
lively souvenir of the liberation in 1944. In 1999 José Schyns
realized this marvellous wind band adaptation. This piece, for mezzo soprano
and band, is a hymn for peace. The text is by Steffanie van Oers and the
English translation is by Harry Reumkens. |
