633 Squadron is a 1964 British film, which depicts the exploits of a fictional World War II British fighter-bomber squadron . The plot was based on a novel of the same name by Frederick E. Smith, published in 1956, which itself drew on several real Royal Air Force operations. 633 Squadron was the first aviation film to be shot in colour and Panavision widescreen.

Battle of Britain is a 1969 British Second World War film. The film documented the events of the Battle of Britain. The film drew many respected British actors to accept roles as key figures of the battle, including Sir Laurence Olivier.

The film endeavoured to be an accurate account of the Battle of Britain, when in the summer and autumn of 1940 the British RAF inflicted a strategic defeat on the Luftwaffe and so ensured the cancellation of Operation Sea Lion – Adolf Hitler's plan to invade Britain. The film is notable for its spectacular flying sequences.

Aces High is a famous piece of orchestral musi in a military march style for the 1969 soundtrack of the film Battle of Britain.

Those Magnificent Men in their Flying Machines; Or, How I Flew from London to Paris in 25 Hours 11 Minutes is a 1965 British period comedy film featuring an international ensemble cast. The film revolves around the craze of early aviation. Based on a screenplay entitled Flying Crazy, the fictional account is set in 1910, when Lord Rawnsley, an English press magnate, offers £10,000 (equivalent to £940,000 in 2016) to the winner of the Daily Postair race from London to Paris, to prove that Britain is "number one in the air".
